Forging New Connections - Keynote Dr Suzanne Zeedyk
We are delighted to announce that we are able to release a limited number of additional tickets for people to attend the keynote speech only at our sold-out conference, Forging New Connections. The conference will be introduced by Julia Bird, a UKCP registered psychotherapist and a founding director of Thrive. The keynote speech 'Why empathy, play and creativity healand help learning: the latest neuroscience and psychology' will be given by leading child psychotherapist Margot Sunderland. It will provide an exciting opportunity to explore how scientific theory translates into everyday practice. This conference and networking event is open to staff working in all education, health and social care settings. For Thrive licensed professionals who attend, a total of 2 CPD points will be awarded.
Keynote speaker Dr Margot Sunderland
Dr Margot Sunderland is a child psychotherapist with over 30 years experience, and is also an award-winning author of more than 20 books in the field of child mental health. Her current roles include: Director of Education and Training at The Centre for Child Mental Health, London; Honorary Visiting Fellow at London Metropolitan University; and Associate Member of the Royal College of Medicine.
